KBC Hoi Sin sauce is a Chinese-style sweet sauce, which is a condiment brewed with flour and soy beans, but KBC Hoi Sin sauce is added with sesame.


 KBC Hoi Sin Sauce make from fermented Soy Bean, Sugar, Salt, sesame and permitted food colouring. 


It is reddish in coloured in appearance and sweet and salty in taste. 


Although KBC Hoi Sin sauce has the word "seafood", it has no seafood ingredients and is rarely used in seafood cooking. KBC seafood sauce is mostly used for cooking Chee Cheong Fun sauce, squid and Water spinach(Kang Kung) sauce, stuffed tofu sauce, marinated barbecued pork and Hock Kean Snack fried braised meat sauce, restaurants use for  marinate pork and sliced duck.
